FITZGERALD, Kory (nee Mulrooney) Longtime member of Eckankar and the Eckankar clergy, died peacefully on June 6, 2013 in her 73rd year. Beloved sister, aunt and friend, she touched many lives and was especially close to a number of her nieces, nephews and their children. Born sixth of twelve children to Esmond and Bertha Mulrooney in Gaspe, Quebec. Educated in Montreal and moved west in 1968, living in Vancouver, Langley and finally Penticton. Worked for many years in medical services in Penticton. Kory enjoyed all outdoor activities including sailing, black powder shooting and playing the guitar. She will be greatly missed by her large extended family, her many friends and everyone she touched. A celebration of life will be held later this summer.
