BETTSCHEN, WILLIAM, D. Dec. 8, 1925 - Dec. 16, 2012 Passed away peacefully on December 16, 2012 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 87 years. Bill will be remembered by his wife, Thelma, two children, Lorna (Lyle) Olson, of Kelowna, BC, Kande (Lowell) Sheppard of Seto, Japan, two grandchildren; Ryan (Maria) Sheppard, Mackenzie Sheppard, one great grandson, Eli Luke, and five sisters; Donna, Mabel, Hilda, Lauretta and Carol. Sadly predeceased by one grandchild, Luke. A memorial service will be held on January 5, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Vernon Family Church, 3508 25th Avenue, Vernon, BC.
